Shine Bright
NOTES FROM CINDY BROWN
Playing small doesn’t make you humble. It makes you small.
Somewhere along the way, we learned:
Don’t be too loud.
Don’t make too much money.
Don’t outshine anyone.
Don’t make people uncomfortable.
So we shrink, we downplay our success, we ask for less. So people will “like/love us.”
"F" that!
You do not have to become less so someone else can feel like more. Your success isn’t taking anything away from anyone.
THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE
Notice where you’re shrinking to keep someone else comfortable.
Then ask:
What would I choose if I wasn’t worried about their reaction?
Do that AND shine bright like a diamond. (Did you sing that when you read it?)
Share this with someone who has their dimmer switch on.
