Intuition Problem or Block?
NOTES FROM CINDY BROWN
Every week there seems to be a theme with my clients. Last week, it happened three times. In one day. Three different clients. Same problem. “I’m not getting clear guidance.” They were getting one answer, then another, then another. Now mind you, they all have really worked on developing their intuition.
Which naturally turned into: WTF. Is my intuition not working anymore?
All three had a blocked intuition because they had the belief Power = bad.
Think wealthy asshole who treats everyone like they’re beneath him. THAT was their definition of a powerful person. So of course they didn’t want to fully be in their power.
If being powerful means becoming that guy... no thanks.
AND, side note: If you're an asshole without money, you'll probably be a bigger asshole with money. Money doesn't magically change your personality, it amplifies who you already are. But that's a whole other conversation. We'll talk about THAT next week.
Back to power, When you’re afraid of your own power, you don't fully trust yourself.
You question what you know.
You look outside yourself for confirmation.
You get an intuitive hit and immediately ask, “But what if I’m wrong?”
Then you get another answer. And another. And now you’re confused as hell.
It wasn't their intuition that needed fixing.
The belief was blocking their intuition. We cleared the belief and everything attached to it. And I literally watched each one come back into their power.
Their energy changed. Their identity shifted. And suddenly there wasn't all this noise around what they knew.
After 20+ years of doing this work, THAT never gets old.
But something else came up that I want you to think about: Is anyone actually more powerful than you?
I don't believe they are. Someone may have a skill set you don't have. They may be brilliant at business. They may command a room. They may make millions. They may have 4 million followers while you have 487 and your mom is three of them. That doesn't make them more powerful than you.
It makes them powerful in their skill set.
And you have yours. So think of someone you currently see as more powerful than you. Now ask yourself:
Are they actually more powerful than me?
Or...
Am I looking at one of their strengths and using it as evidence that they are somehow more powerful than I am?
BIG difference.
Your power doesn't require anyone else to have less. And being in your power doesn't make you an asshole.
It makes you YOU without all the apologizing, questioning, second guessing and shrinking.
